Copyright reporting
Report suspected infringement clearly and responsibly.
Dropfile prohibits unauthorized sharing of copyrighted material. Because transfers are temporary and file bytes are not intentionally stored by Dropfile, prompt and specific reports are important.
Identify the protected work
Describe the copyrighted work you own or are authorized to represent. For multiple works, provide a representative list and links to legitimate published examples where available.
Identify the Dropfile activity
Provide the complete Dropfile share URL, the date and time with timezone, the displayed file name if visible, and a short explanation of why you believe the share is unauthorized. Do not download or attach the disputed file solely for reporting.
Provide contact and authority
Include your full name, organization if applicable, email address, and a statement explaining whether you are the rights holder or an authorized representative. Agents should identify the party they represent.
Include good-faith statements
State that you have a good-faith belief that the reported use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law, and that the information in your report is accurate. Include an electronic signature by typing your full legal name.
Send the report
Email the completed report to contact@dropfile.site with the subject “Copyright report.” Dropfile may request clarification before acting and may preserve the report as needed for legal, safety, or dispute-handling purposes.
Important limitation
This page is a practical reporting process, not a claim that Dropfile has registered a DMCA designated agent or that any particular law applies to every report. Rights holders should seek legal advice when formal statutory notice is required.
