Dropfile policies
Anti-piracy Disclaimer
Dropfile is a transfer tool, not a license to copy or distribute someone else's work.
Effective September 19, 2026
No endorsement of infringement
Dropfile does not endorse piracy, copyright infringement, or the unauthorized distribution of protected works. The presence of a file name, link, password, or successful transfer does not mean the site operator approved or reviewed that material.
Users must have permission
Senders must own the material, have permission from the rights holder, or have another lawful basis to distribute it. Downloaders are also responsible for ensuring that receiving and using a file is lawful where they are located.
Peer-to-peer limits
Because file bytes are designed to travel directly between participating devices, the operator may not possess or be able to inspect the contents of a transfer. Password protection and encryption improve privacy but do not make unlawful sharing permissible.
Prohibited examples
Unauthorized copies of commercial movies, television, music, games, software, books, courses, photographs, and subscription-only content must not be shared through Dropfile. The same prohibition applies to stolen personal data and any material whose distribution violates another person's rights.
Rights and enforcement
Rights holders retain all rights in their works. Access may be restricted when technically possible and reasonably necessary to address abuse, security threats, valid legal process, or applicable law.
These pages provide general service information and are not legal advice. The site operator should obtain qualified legal review before a commercial or large-scale public launch.
